FAQ
Why should I use Trianum preventatively?
-
Fungal spores are present in every substrate in a greenhouse or outdoor plot. These fungi can quickly establish themselves on the roots of young plants. Keep a few steps ahead of other fungi by using Trianum as early as the propagation phase.
Can I also use Trianum for the first time in an older crop?
-
It is possible to apply Trianum at a later stage of cultivation. Application during propagation is preferable; see also "Why should I use Trianum preventatively?".
First, reduce the disease pressure in the rhizosphere using a suitable product in order to facilitate the establishment of Trianum.
Why do I need to repeat applications?
-
Due to attacks by micro-organisms, the concentration of Trianum will decline over time. By applying a top-up dose (see diagram), the high concentration of spores on the roots can be maintained.

How much water do I need to use when watering from above?
-
Do not use too much water, as this would result in the spores being flushed out.
Watering in soil-based crops:- propagation: 2.5 to 5 litres of water per m²
- cultivation: 5 to 10 litres of water per m²
How can I best apply Trianum through trickle irrigation?

Can I apply fungicides while using Trianum?
-
Fungicides are generally not harmful for Trianum. However, wait for 3 to 10 days before application. See Koppert’s summary of side effects for specific information.
Can I mix fungicides with Trianum?
-
Koppert advises against mixing Trianum with fungicides/soil fungicides.
Can Trianum also be applied in an NFT system?
-
We have only limited experience with the application of Trianum in NFT systems. However Trianum is seen in good quantities on the roots of the plants when used in these systems.
