FAQ
Is naturally occurring Trichoderma effective too?
-
Wild, naturally occuring Trichoderma strains are seldom adequately effective in combating disease. They grow more slowly and colonisation is therefore less effective.
Can Trianum be combined with mycorrizha?
-
As far as we know, Trianum can be combined with species of mycorrizha.
Can Trianum also grow on the leaves or flowers?
-
Trianum does not grow on the leaves or flowers, although it can survive there for a short period. Trichoderma spores on the flowers can kill a pathogen found there, such as Botrytis.
Does Trianum only grow on the roots?
-
Trianum feeds itself from the waste substances released during the root growth. This is why Trianum primarily grows on the roots of the plant, thus forming a protective layer against soil-borne diseases.
