Why is there an N-number printed on the packaging?

The effectiveness and harmfulness of Trianum for people and the environment has been investigated, and it has been approved as a crop protection agent. Products with an N-number have been officially registered, and are subject to the Dutch crop protection agents act.

Trianum is a biological product. So why is the symbol for irritant substances printed on the packaging?

As a consequence of a European classification (R42 / 43) for micro-organisms, there is a legal requirement to bear the symbol for irritants. R42 / 43 means that the product can cause allergic reactions in the event of inhalation or contact with the skin. This symbol must be displayed on products as standard, unless studies have demonstrated that the product does not cause any allergic reactions. Due to the lack of suitable research protocols for specific micro-organisms, Koppert has not yet carried out such studies for Trianum.

What should I do with the empty packaging?

Empty Trianum packaging can be treated as normal commercial waste.

Do I need to store Trianum-P in a refrigerator?

We advise storing Trianum-P in a refrigerator.

Do I need to store Trianum-G in a refrigerator?

Keep Trianum-G in air-tight packaging and in a cool place (below 10°C) in order to guarantee the quality and the shelf-life as printed on the packaging. Trianum-G can be kept at room temperature for two months without any detrimental effects to the quality. In this case, however, the shelf-life printed on the packaging no longer applies.

Why do I need to keep Trianum cool?

The shelf-life is reduced at temperatures above 10°C. The biological activity of live spores increases.

Which Trianum product do I need, and when?

Trianum-G: Mix into the potting compost and/or distribute over the soil or substrate before planting.
Trianum-P: wettable powder based on clay particles, and to be used by watering from above.
