Packaging and storage Trianum-P
Application
Trianum-P is ideal for use in trickle/drip irrigation systems, sprinkler systems or by watering from above.
Application by means of watering from above and sprinkler systems:
Preparation of suspension
- Suspend 1 volume TRIANUM-P in 5 volumes of water in a bucket.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Add suspension to required amount of water to obtain final drench solution.
- Agitate continuously to maintain an even distribution of spores (spores do not dissolve in water and can precipitate).
- Apply the drench on the day of preparation.
TRIANUM-P can be applied without special drenching equipment. After application clean equipment by flushing thoroughly with water.
Application by means of trickle/drip irrigation:
Preparation of suspension
- Suspend 1 volume TRIANUM-P in 5 volumes of water in a bucket.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Add suspension to required amount of water to obtain final volume.
- Agitate continuously to maintain an even suspension (spores do not dissolve in water and can precipitate).
- Apply Trianum preferably as concentrated as possible and apply in a as small as possible irrigation turn (application directly into the watering system of a compartment).
- Spores in TRIANUM-P should reach the roots quickly (in time spore quality decreases in water).
- Do not use TRIANUM-P before sand filter and make sure that trickle/drip irrigation filters are clean (spores can attach to organic material in filters).
Note:
To increase spore attachment to roots, avoid run-off and excess drainage for the first two days after application of the product. TRIANUM-P is not a systemic product and therefore not taken up by the plant. Do not use disinfectants in trickle/drip irrigation systems at least one day before and two days after TRIANUM-P application.
Product properties
Trianum-P is a wettable powder containing spores of the fungus Trichoderma harzianum, T-22 strain. The product contains 1.0 x 10⁹ colony-forming units per gram. The wettable powder is green in colour.
Quality
Koppert systematically checks every batch to ensure the product meets its rigorous requirements of quality control, including the percentage and speed of spore germination. Quality control also includes plant trials to check the speed and extent of colonisation by the spores on the roots. To ensure Koppert's commitment to quality is followed through the supply chain, clear instructions are provided for the correct handling and storage of the product.
Packaging
Trianum-P is supplied in an aluminium bag inside a cardboard box. Trianum-P is available in packs of 250 grams* and 500 grams.

Climate conditions
Trianum-P works effectively under various climate conditions. The fungus grows within a broad temperature range (10-34°C), at pH levels from 4 to 8.5, in a wide variety of different substrates and on the roots of many different crops.
